About Cultural Industry Day:
Cultural Industry Day is a break out event offered for the first time in 2019. It was developed by the Arts Council Windsor & Region, in partnership with Workforce WindsorEssex and is inspired by the growing need in our region for our burgeoning creative workforce to be nurtured and supported through education and connectivity. Support for this program was offered by a committee of teachers and board representatives from the Greater Essex County District School Board, the Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board, Conseil Scolaire Catholique Providence, and Conseil Scolaire Viamonde. A community partnership with the City of Windsor is an intrinsic part of the success of this event. Without the support of our sponsors; St.Clair College and the University of Windsor’s Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, Cultural Industry Day would not have come to be.
