WHAT DOES ACWR MEAN TO YOU?

I was advised to join the ACWR soon after receiving my degree and promptly joined the committee dedicated to saving the historic Capitol Theatre. While serving on the Artcite board I saw firsthand how the Arts Council led in the formation of Windsor Endowment for the Arts.

As the ACWR Outreach Coordinator I was privileged to help celebrate 1999 – Year of the Arts which showcased so many awesome talents for the public benefit. During my tenure as ACWR President we secured a Trillium grant to fund Learning Through the Arts which brought artists into schools as partners in curriculum development. My three children as Walkerville high school students experienced the thrill of mounting their art works in the Artspeak Gallery. Here’s to many more decades of excellence. BRAVO!
