Madeline Doornaert

Administrative & Outreach Coordinator

Madeline Doornaert (She/Her) is a musician, songwriter, and arts administrator.

Madeline writes alternative/indie and folk-pop songs to explore themes of sustainability, nature connectedness, and perseverance.

In 2020, Madeline released Muddy Water, her debut album of original music. She continues to make her name regionally, receiving airplay on CBC Radio across Canada, performing as a soloist with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, and winning BizX Magazine’s 2021 Artist of the Year award.

Madeline is currently the Administrative & Outreach Coordinator for the Arts Council Windsor & Region. She has worked with many arts organizations in administrative and marketing coordination roles, including the JUNO-nominated Canadian Chamber Choir, the University of Windsor’s School of Creative Arts, 4th Wall Music, and the Windsor Choral Festival. She is passionate about increasing public access to resources, programming, and education within the arts industry.

Madeline graduated from the University of Windsor in 2022 with a Bachelors of Music and a Bachelors of Education.
