Lou Cox

Lou Cox (they/them) is a mixed media artist from Windsor, On who primarily works in textiles and sculpture. They like to take inspiration from their personal experiences as a Trans Non-Binary person who lives with a chronic illness. They completed the WCCA Visual Arts and Media programs in 2022, along with spending the summer working at The Art Lab, as a assistant for their summer kids art camp!

Lou also owns their own small business, “Louz ur Mind” where they sell various art creations such as colourful crochet balaclava hoods, and wire wrapped crystal jewelry! They also love expressing themselves through the clothes they wear, so they are a prolific collector of any fun vintage/ artsy clothing pieces! They look forward to engaging more with the local arts community, as well as making more connections along the way!
