Jill Thompson

Jill is a dedicated, passionate community art project coordinator who is driven to inspire impact and change community improvement through artistic projects and endeavours. She strongly advocates for art to be accessible to everyone by bringing it outdoors and into the streets and is passionate about artists being fairly compensated for their work . For over ten years she has been facilitating, coordinating, and operating artistic events, activities, galas, and workshops to raise funds for various causes and to bring artistic beauty and expression to neighbourhoods and communities through her local art project Art Attack Windsor. Through Art Attack Windsor, Jill has coordinated roughly 40 different street art projects which have resulted in employment for approximately 55 local artists.

Jill has a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Windsor and Diploma in Journalism from St. Clair Mediaplex.
