WHAT DOES ACWR MEAN TO YOU?
I first found the ACWR in 2014 by participating in indigenous youth art show, later becoming a coop student and summer work student with ACWR. The gratitude I have for ACWR is beyond what words can express. The ACWR has helped me grow not only as an artist and student, but as person. To me the ACWR means support, growth and community.
ABOUT THE ARTIST – Evangeline John is a multidisciplinary artist based in Windsor, ON. and student at the University of British Columbia. She is Onʌyota’a:ká: from the Oneida Nation of the Thames.
