Erin Fyfe

Administrative Assistant

Erin Fyfe (she/her) is and artist and educator currently based in Windsor, Ontario.

Fyfe’s focus lies in depicting the sensation of detachment through representations of nature, allegorical narratives, and peripheral spaces. Their work investigates physical, social, and invisible boundaries by exploring issues of land-use, property and place through landscape paintings. Fyfe holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Windsor (2016) and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Ottawa (2021). She is the recipient of The Jurors’ Prize at the Carmichael Canadian Landscape Exhibition: Tradition Transformed at the Orillia Museum of Art & History in 2021. She has exhibited nationally in group and solo exhibitions, and her work is held in private collections in Canada, The United States, and Europe. Her practice evolves as it exposes the layers of social and aesthetic structures acting as invisible boundaries to how landscape, nature, and the environment are interpreted and viewed.
