Czarina Mendoza
ModeratorCzarina Mendoza is a multi-disciplinary artist from central Alberta. Her recent work explores intrinsic structures of ritual practices and gift-giving traditions that define Filipino culture. She is most interested in the mediation of transnational ties and draws reference from export material, inherited cultural memory and Asian retail. She is a recent graduate from the University of Windsor holding an Honours Bachelor degree in Media Art History & Visual Culture. In the summer of 2018, she worked with ACWR as Summer Programming Coordinator and will be continuing her art practice here in Windsor while working with Left Collective gallery and studio space.
