Chantal Brouillard (she/her) is an artist from Windsor, Ontario. She completed her BFA in Visual Arts at the University of Windsor in 2020. Her practice centres around identity in public and domestic spaces through painting and analog photography. Her current body of work in painting surrounds themes of surveillance and private spaces. Although, her photography supports the concept of identity and vulnerability in intimate environments through portraiture. During her undergrad, she volunteered in student advocacy as President of the Creative Arts Students’ Society and contributed to numerous exhibitions and curatorial projects within her studies and community. Chantal will be attending a residency program at the Burren College of Art in 2022, focusing on film photography and darkroom development. She is looking forward to being involved in the arts community as a member of Vanguard and engaging with other artists along the way.
