Our annual OUTREACH Youth Exhibition is going virtual this year! In response to COVID-19, we will be hosting an online art exhibition showcasing the work of diverse youth from the GTA.
All youth (13-26) residing in the GTA aged are invited to submit one recent image in response to the theme Envision. We are curious about how you are envisioning the outcomes of this pandemic, as well as how you are keeping busy and safe while COVID-19 is on everyone’s mind.
en·vi·sion (definition): imagine as a future possibility; visualize.
Applicants may consider the following prompts:
- How are you spending your time in isolation?
- How will you remember this time once the pandemic is over?
- How do you imagine society, the environment, the economy will change?
Submission Guidelines:
We are accepting all recent image-based submissions (photo and video) and encourage you to reflect on the theme in various ways.
• Artists must submit their own original artwork (limited to 1 image per submission)
• Image submissions should be in .JPG format with a file size limit of 2MB and saved as LastNameFirstName_ImageTitle.jpg
• Video submissions must be sent via link (vimeo, dropbox, google drive, youtube etc.)
• Artists should provide a short description of the submission as it relates to the theme

Please note that individuals pictured in photo and video submissions must consent to the use of their image in an online exhibition.
Submissions will be juried and successful artists will receive a small artist fee for participating.
Successful artists will be notified by e-mail by July 8, 2020.
