Position Title: Coordinator, Digital Initiatives & Partnerships
Reporting to: Head, Programs & Projects
Type of Employment: Permanent full-time with the bargaining unit*, beginning July 31, 2023
Work hours: 35 hours per week
Location: Onsite and offsite per the telework policy
Compensation: Start $25.08/hr, 6months $26.33/hr, and 1 year $27.60/hr.

Summary of Function
Coordinator, Digital Initiatives & Partnerships is a position that supports AWE’s goals:
- To implement AWE’s 2022-27 Digital Strategy, supporting the engagement of the community through accessible, transformative digital experiences that inspire growth, spark curiosity, and create change;
- To build meaningful programs and activities with community members and stakeholders from a variety of sectors, and developing partnerships with the shared goals to spark curiosity, and create change through the power of art.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Works on initiatives connected to AWE’s digital and partnership strategies
- Researches technologies and best practices for museums, and makes recommendations around evolving digital technology acquisitions
- Coordinates logistics for selected projects
- Identifies potential funding sources for projects
- Builds and manages community contacts and partnerships
Skills & Requirements
- Master’s degree in a related field, with demonstrated study and experience in project management
- Familiarity with visual art
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent research skills
- Demonstrated creative and innovative thinker
- Energetic, warm, self-motivated, and collaborative
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to effectively work with others
