Windsor Endowment for the Arts (WEA) and Shō Art Studios have partnered to present SHŌ & TELL SŌCIAL.
Since Arts & Culture have made a triumphant return to Windsor-Essex this year, we wanted to create an event that showcased the variety of arts and cultural events scheduled to take place this fall.
The first in a series of four socials will take place on Thursday, September 8th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Artists and art leaders from literary arts, performing arts, and visual arts will have 5 minutes on stage to announce their upcoming arts or cultural event and demonstrate a sample of the event in the form of a song, poem, photographs, video etc.
After each 5-minute presentation, the audience will have 10 minutes to chat and network with fellow art lovers. Some may choose this time to ask the presenters questions about their events and set up future opportunities for project collaborations.
Admission to the event is $5.00 at the door (cash or credit accepted). The admission fee includes a drink ticket for a non-alcoholic beverage. We’ll be creating fun mocktails!
All proceeds will be shared between WEA and SHŌ.
Drop by anytime between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to enjoy any of the 10 presentations or mingle with fellow artists and art lovers!
Street Parking is available on Monmouth Street or at the Pay & Display Public Parking lot at the corner of Kildare and Wyandotte Street East.
