Note: This class is a prerequisite to all other Zentangle classes.
“Introduction to Zentangle” will be taught by Laurel Storey, CZT (Certified Zentangle Teacher), and will provide a beginner with a background in the history of Zentangle, introduce them to the basic steps of the method, and expose them to associated vocabulary and tools used. Students will be immersed in learning tangle patterns as they create actual Zentangle paper “tiles” and will leave with a clear understanding that, “Anything is possible one stroke at a time.”®
ONLINE classes will be hosted on Zoom and held on selected Saturdays starting at 11:00 a.m. EST/EDT. Supplies are NOT included in the cost of online classes. A list of required supplies (including alternative options) will be sent to registered students, who may opt to either provide their own or purchase supplies online for local (Windsor, Ontario) pickup.
IN PERSON classes will be held at Walkerville Artists Collective (1295 Ottawa Street, Windsor, Ontario, Canada) on selected Mondays starting at 6:00 p.m. EST/EDT. An “Introduction to Zentangle” supply kit will be provided to registered students when they arrive at class.
