Join us on Sunday, June 23, at the Capitol Theatre for a FEMeeting Plenary Event from 4:30 to 6:30. FEMeeting: Women in Art Science and Technology 2024 is an international conference presenting cutting-edge interdisciplinary research across the arts and sciences while advancing the role of women in art, science and technology. The Plenary will feature three outstanding speakers: Nina Czegledy, an independent artist and curator; Dr. Catherine Febria, a Canada Research Chair, Associate Professor and Director of the Healthy Head Waters Lab at the University of Windsor; and Dr Zainub Vergee,C.M., the Executive Director of the Ontario Association of Art Galleries.

Join us for the FEMeeting Exhibition Opening, ‘Elegy for a Cell’, curated by Mireille Bourgeois of IOTA Institute! The event will take place at the School of Creative Arts Gallery at 37 University Ave E on Monday, June 24. The event is open to the public and will feature light snacks and a cash bar.

FEMeeting Screening Event: Tendrils


Join us for the FEMeeting Video Screening Event, ‘Tendrils,’ curated by Mireille Bourgeois of IOTA Institute! The event will occur in the Multimedia Studio, Alan Wilderman Building, located at 360 Freedom Way, Windsor, ON, on Wednesday, June 26, from 5 pm to 6:30 pm. It is open to the public, but seating is limited, so registration is required.

Join us on Friday, June 28, from 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm at the Capitol Theatre’s FEMS and GEMS’ plenary roundtable discussion variety and drag show curated by Jennifer Willet and Cole Fortier. This fun and irreverent event will be hosted by the Gentleman Scientist & Epoxy the drag queen – and serve as the final FEMeeting wrap-up party, including Q&A with FEMeeting luminaries, live music, drag performers, spoken word poetry, and a sing-along!
