Espacios Sonoros is pleased to announce its open call for multichannel electroacoustic works. To avoid health hazards, this year’s edition will be broadcasted in October through Radio CASo. Espacios Sonoros will return to it’s usual format in 2022. Concerts including works from 2020 and 2021 will be held in Salta, Argentina.
This year’s Open Call will have two categories: an international open call without restrictions and an open call directed at young Latin American composers (under 35 years old). Submissions will be received until July 1th. The selected works will be announced in September by the festival’s jury. Submitted works should be between 5 and 15 minutes long. Ambisonics B-format is preferred, but not required. There will be no submission or registration fees. Composers’ presence at the concerts is encouraged but not required.
