Doon Pioneer Park Community Centre Public Art Competition

The City of Kitchener invites artists/artist teams to submit proposals for a one-stage competition to provide a site-specific work of public art that combines an artistic vision with functionality for an outdoor seating installation at the Doon Pioneer Park Community Centre, Kitchener, Ontario. The competition is open to all emerging and established artists/teams residing in Canada. Each artist(s)/team is limited to one entry. The Centre is currently undergoing a renovation where one of the key priorities is to accommodate a bigger space for the community to gather with friends and neighbours. The artist fee is $23,000 including HST with a deadline for proposals on Monday, September 23, 2019 with projected installation date of Spring 2020.
