SHOW.19 is a biannual exhibition at Cambridge Art Galleries dedicated exclusively to promoting the work of emerging Ontario artists. SHOW.19 will take place from May 10 to June 29, 2019.

Cambridge Art Galleries is looking for Ontario artists who have been exhibiting professionally for less than 5 years, or have recently completed their BFA, MFA or equivalent. Current students are also eligible to apply.

SHOW.19 will spotlight up to 20 artists that represent a snapshot of fresh talent from across Ontario. Submissions in all mediums are welcomed, including off site projects.

Please make sure that all works submitted are ready and available for exhibition between April 25 and July 15, 2019. CARFAC fees and shipping costs will be covered by the gallery.

Please note: submissions that are incomplete will not be considered. Due to high volume of submissions only successful applicants will be contacted following the selection. The gallery will contact successful applicants by March 18, 2019 at the latest. All selections are final.

Online submissions must include:

  1. Full contact info
  2. Artist Statement
  3. Bio
  4. CV
  5. Image list of all works submitted (Artist Name, Title, Date, Materials, Dimensions, Brief description of the work)
  6. Up to 10 PC compatible JPGs of artwork completed during the last two years (please label each image with # corresponding to the image list, and last name of the artist)
  7. Up to 5 minutes of video for time-based proposals only.

Cambridge Art Galleries | Idea Exchange presents contemporary art, architecture and design from three galleries in the City of Cambridge: Design at Riverside, Preston, and Queen’s Square.
