Established in 2005, Cambridge Art Galleries’ biannual exhibition SHOW presents the work of emerging Ontario artists. For SHOW.21, we invite submissions of artworks from artists based in Southwest Ontario who have been exhibiting professionally for less than five years, or who are currently enrolled in or have recently completed their BFA, MFA, or equivalent. Submissions in all media are welcomed.

SHOW.21 will be exhibited at Queen’s Square Gallery from November 22, 2021 to February 13, 2022. Artworks should be completed at time of submission and available for the period of November 1, 2021 through March 4, 2022. Artists presented in SHOW.21 will receive exhibition fees in accordance CARFAC guidelines. Cambridge Art Galleries will coordinate and cover costs of shipping.

Submission Guidelines:
Please submit online:

  • Images/media files of up to 3 artworks (maximum 10 images/media files total)
  • Title, date, medium, and dimensions of work(s)
  • Installation requirements (if any)
  • Biography and/or CV

Cambridge Art Galleries welcomes submissions from members of equity-seeking communities including women, Indigenous and racialized persons, persons with disabilities, and persons of all sexual orientations and gender identities/expressions.
