CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: MURAL at the LEAMINGTON DISTRICT HALF-CENTURY CENTRE
The Leamington & District Half-Century Centre is a multi-purpose, community-oriented non-profit centre aimed at keeping older adults active, well, and living independently. We provide social, recreational, and educational programs and activities for people aged 50 and older, and also opportunities for volunteering time and services.

The Leamington and District Half Century Centre is looking for an artist to paint a mural on the west exterior of our building. The mural should reflect and depict some or all of the activities offered at the Centre (Art Group, Band Practice, Breakfast Club, Bridge, Cribbage, Darts, Euchre, Line Dancing, Pepper, Pool, Shuffleboard, Uno, and Yoga. Interested artists should submit: 
·       A short artist bio and artist CV
·       Samples of their previous works
·       A detailed description of the proposed mural
·       A few mock-up/sketches of the proposed mural
·       A list of needed materials and equipment

The selected artist will be based on the originality and creativity of their proposal as well as their qualifications. Interested artists are to submit before of June 12, 2019. The artist will be compensated. The mural is to be completed at an arranged time between the artist and the Half-Century Centre this summer.

Entries must be received by June 30, 2019.
