Submission Guidelines
Application Form

Application Deadline: February 29, 2020. The winner will be announced and contacted in March. Please send proposals to Jeff Stellick, Executive Director: director@artottawa.ca

Eligibility
The residency is open to international artists only (i.e. residing outside of Canada and the United States of America and who are not Canadian or US citizens.)

The residency will be awarded based on the quality of the artist’s work and the viability of their residency project.

The residency must be completed between March 2020 and March 2021.

Participating in the residency is conditional on the artist obtaining a visa and necessary travel documents to enter Canada. If the winning artist cannot obtain the necessary travel documents, then the offer of the residency will be withdrawn and may be awarded to another artist in the competition at the jury’s discretion.

The artist must sign a letter of agreement before starting their residency.

The artist can work in any print medium, but the final print must be produced using traditional print media (intaglio, relief, lithography, monoprints, etc.).
