Indigenous Motherhood and Matriarchy Submission Call for Indigenous Artist
This is the third in a series of three exhibitions to feature artworks related to the theme of Indigenous Motherhood and Matriarchy. Various forms of visual media will be accepted. This is an inclusive exhibition that will feature the perspectives of Indigenous women, men, LGBTQ2S, and youth.
Installation Schedule: Arts Commons + 15 Galleries, mid-September – December, 2021.
Artists selected to exhibit their work(s) will be paid artist fees.

Submissions
Please submit the following to Autumn Whiteway, by August 13, 2021, 11:59pm:
- Artist biography
- High resolution images
- Title, year, medium and dimensions (special installation requirements)
- Description of each piece as it relates to the theme.
The exhibition is located in Calgary (Mohkinstsis), Alberta, Canada. Indigenous artists from across Turtle Island are invited to submit. Must be able to ship artwork to Calgary if selected (some funding is available to supplement shipping costs).
