On Sunday, October 17, the Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association (DWBIA) is hosting an
Arts Fair as a component of Open Streets — and it’s looking for vendors.

Local artists, crafters and artisans interested in selling their wares
are welcome to register for this beloved family-friendly event. The
Downtown Arts Fair will be located on University Avenue, between
Pelissier Street and Freedom Way, and on Ouellette Avenue, between
Riverside Drive and University Avenue.

“This is sure to be a high-energy and well-attended fair that will
provide the opportunity for artists, art lovers and collectors to
engage
with one another,” said DWBIA Chair Brian Yeomans. “There will be a
myriad of offerings available showcasing the wealth of talent and skill
right here in Windsor and Essex County.”

The registration fee is $25, which is fully refunded on the day of the
event when the vendor sets up. All artistic merchandise is permitted,
with the exception of food that must be handled and prepared at the
event. Pre-packaged foods/drinks are permitted but they must be local
and either unique or artisanal.
