CALL FOR ARTISTS for ANIMA MUNDI 2024 Venice | April – June, 2024

ITSLIQUID Group, in collaboration with ACIT Venice – Italian-German Cultural Association, is pleased to announce the open call for ANIMA MUNDI 2024, an international exhibition of photography, painting, video art, installation/sculpture, and performance art, that will be held in Venice, at Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello and in other prestigious venues and historical buildings, from April to June 2024, during the 60th Venice Biennale of Art.

The last edition of ANIMA MUNDI took place in Venice in 2022, presenting a great selection of more than 500 art works realized by 250 artists, coming from 40 countries. The festival focuses on the concept of ANIMA MUNDI, which according to several historical cultures, religions and philosophical systems, is an intrinsic connection between all living entities on the planet, which relates to the world in a similar way as the human soul is connected to the human body.Plato expressed his thought about the ANIMA MUNDI in the Timaeus, “this world is indeed a living being endowed with a soul and intelligence… a single visible living entity containing all other living entities, which by their nature are all related”
