Breaking Waves is a free community workshop that invites high-school students from around Windsor-Essex County to experiment with a combination of text-based and visual art. This project will be completed in phases, including a call of interest, the workshop itself, and an event/series of events to promote the students’ works. The workshop will offer students the opportunity to work with local artists in a supportive learning environment; at the end of the workshop, each student will have a completed artwork that they can then sell in the local community. We hope to launch this project in Spring/Summer 2022 with a celebratory event to take place later in the year. Feel free to share the printable poster (attached below) with your community!
