What opportunities do you believe Windsor-Essex has to grow our art, culture and heritage sector?

There are many opportunities events on the waterfront or historical mural painted in our neighborhoods.

How do you propose to attract or retain artists and cultural workers in your community?

By having more heart events and celebrating art around our city in the form of Music visual or drama

What role do you see for arts and culture in the promotion of the region both as a destination for tourists and as a place of permanent residence for youth, families, and retirees?

People like to be around beautiful surroundings. Art gives that beautiful surrounding. We need to make Windsor a beautiful place that people feel inspired by. Art does all that and more

In what other ways could you use your position as an elected official to help support the arts, culture and heritage sector outside of using municipal funding?

We could work with businesses in order to do sponsorships for murals and events. Once again by creating a beautiful surrounding it becomes attractive two residents and visitors alike.

What is your perspective on the best ways to collaborate with other levels of government to ensure sustainability and growth for the cultural sector of our community?

By organizing events and then measuring their success. The next time you have the event apply for both provincial or federal grants using the metrics from the past event to justify its success and funding.

How do you personally engage with arts, culture and heritage in Windsor-Essex?

I go to pretty much every art event in our city. I love bringing my family and my children really enjoy it as well.
