Begin your summer tour of Willistead Manor at the Coach House, where you can purchase your tour tickets the day of your tour, and explore the Coach House Historical Exhibition on site. After exploring the exhibition, head across the parking lot to Willistead Manor for a tour of the grand estate. Members of the Friends of Willistead will be stationed throughout the building to answers questions from guests and provide some context and historical interpretation. Please also visit the Billiard Room to see a selection of Willitsead Manor keepsakes available for purchase from the Friends of Willistead.

COACH HOUSE HISTORICAL EXHIBITION
In the new Coach House Historical Exhibition, guests are invited to learn about the history of Hiram Walker, the Walker businesses and community impacts, the formation of Walkerville, Edward and Mary Walker, the construction and uses of Willistead Manor, and much more.
This exhibition was designed by HCA Mindbox, and supported by the CHARLEIGH Charitable Trust, the Walker descendants, Willistead Manor Inc., the Friends of Willistead, Suede Productions, and the City of Windsor.

THE FRIENDS OF WILLISTEAD
The Friends of Willistead are a non-profit volunteer organization in the City of Windsor. They raise funds for preservation, restoration and acquisitions for Willistead Manor in Olde Walkerville. In existence for over 40 years, the group has over 50 volunteer members to date. Membership costs $20 and ten hours of volunteer time per year. The Friends of Willistead are always ready to welcome new members and look forward to opportunities to enhance Willistead Manor – the City of Windsor’s historic gem. The Willistead Manor Inc. Board of Directors invites, welcomes and appreciates donations to support ongoing restoration iniaitives at the manor.
The generosity of our donors enhances Willistead Manor’s status as Windsor’s premier heritage site. Your donation will complement annual contributions from Rotary Club of Windsor (1918)’s Art in the Park festival; CHARLEIGH Charitable Trust; the Friends of Willistead; foundations; and other groups, including the Walker Family descendants. For every one hundred dollars ($100.00) contributed by December 31 of each year, donors will receive one (1) entry in a draw to win a private dinner for six catered in the manor’s formal dining room.
