It’s back! Post Productions is pleased to announce the 2024 Windsor-Essex Playwriting Contest! Now in its seventh year, YOU can join the esteemed honour roll of award-winning playwrights whose work has been produced at The Shadowbox Theatre.
Submissions to the first round of the 2024 Windsor-Essex Playwriting Contest are DUE FEBRUARY 29, 2024, by 11:59 pm. The winning script will be produced as part of Post Productions’ 2025 season, and its playwright will receive 10% of gross ticket revenue from the production and will be invited to participate in the casting and rehearsal processes (if they so wish). ALL submitting playwrights will receive detailed constructive feedback on their work from a panel of experienced judges who have carefully read and discussed their scripts. Scripts chosen for the second round (finalists) will have a month to revise their scripts using the feedback received – and will receive additional feedback on their revised scripts.
