Taking Care is back for 2024! Join us on the first Sunday and the third Tuesday of each month for a double dose of creative wellness. This month, we will explore the importance of the creative arts, and its ability to hold a safe space to process current feelings, emotions, and circumstances.
Do you ever noticed feeling more inclined to create art when you are moving through a challenging time? Creativity helps us move heavy emotions outside of our body and encourages us to cultivate a greater sense of meaning and understanding.
In past sessions, we have discussed having to “turn to face the strange”. These parts of ourselves that may be less pleasurable and uncomfortable. But perhaps through creativity, compassion, and gentleness, this process can be a supportive tool in helping us navigate our everyday lives!
