Shakers have existed for millenia in Africa, the Pacific Islands and the Americas. They are easy to use, commonly used in your favourite songs and add a movement, rhythm and energy to music.
Your host, Ray, will guide you with the basis of how to create a hand held shaker. Come follow along while using your own creative expression with sound, colour and form. Bring a friend or two and stick around after you’re done your project and put your very own shaker into action while Ray performs an interactive song you can shake along to! It may become a dance party!
