WINDSOR EVENT SHOWCASES DRAG ARTISTS
Drag Lip Sync Battle Royale returns to Windsor for the third time on June 3, 2023. Drag performers from around Ontario will compete in battle rounds until a winner takes a cash prize and crown. Event producer Karen Smallwood says, “The real winner will be every person in our safe space for the LGBTQ+ community and drag performers in an event that embraces drag performers across the spectrum of drag and gender identity.”
To counter the negative attention drag performances have unfairly garnered over the past six months, the Drag Lip Sync Battle Royale is more committed than ever to providing the drag community of Windsor and its supporters with a safe and uplifting celebration of drag.
Showcasing Windsor’s thriving drag scene of drag queens, kings, hyper queens, afab queens and more, hosts Hudson Bae and Miss Mercury Retrograde are joined by judging lead Lua.
