Confluences brings together 12 members of BRAVO-Sud, as part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of the Bureau des regroupements des artistes visuels de l’Ontario (BRAVO) and highlights visual arts production in Francophone Ontario. The works in Confluences touch on great philosophical questions—“Where do we come from? Where are we going? Who are we?” These questions are as much spiritual, such as the exploration of the light within us, as they are concrete, where the artists are directly inspired by daily life. BRAVO has four regional offices. In addition to the Windsor exhibition, the group is also presenting Confluences exhibitions at the Ottawa Art Gallery, 815 Gallery in Hearst and the Sault Ste. Marie Museum.
