Reception at ArtSpeak Gallery: March 24 (7-9pm)

A series of drawings completed from October 2022 to present. The process is repeated body motion with graphite stick in hand, marking a mylar sheet placed on the floor of the artist’s studio. The image is seldom preconceived and relies on improvisation.

Janzen is a video, drawing, new media and installation artist from Windsor Ontario.

The artist would like to respectfully acknowledge that the land on which we gather for this exhibition is the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations, comprised of the Ojibwe, the Odawa, Huron/Wendat and the Potawatomi Peoples.
