Dialogue: Parts 1 through 5 is the result of a five-part performance between Collette Broeders and Ed Janzen. The gallery exhibition consists of 50 drawings using graphite on vellum, video and a limited edition hand-bound book of the drawings.
In contrasting styles, Janzen and Broeders capture and animate surfaces and spaces through ambient walks, drawings and durational performances upon texts. Through these materials, the artists reveal histories, identities, and sense of place.
A public drawing performance in the gallery will be scheduled for January 2023.
