Concerts, house shows and house parties are beloved because they allow people to connect while creating a fun atmosphere where people can relax, enjoy themselves, socialize and celebrate. The reality however is, that on any given day employees and attendees of the hospitality and entertainment industry may see people who are uncomfortable or unsafe while not knowing how to help.

This month, CJAM 99.1FM is partnering with The SAFE Bar Network for a free online workshop on How to Have a SAFE NIGHT OUT taking place August 11th, 2021 at 6pm on zoom. Join an open conversation about safety, and the entertainment industry – and its relationship with alcohol and sexual harassment & misconduct.

Learn how to notice concerning behaviour, interrupt effectively, and provide support.

Learn active bystander skills to create a comfortable, safe, and fun atmosphere that everyone deserves

As Concerts, House Shows, House Parties and clubs pick back up, let’s work together to perpetuate a culture that is comfortable for all. Registration is free and open to everyone. You can find the link to sign up on CJAM’s website, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. No prior experience required. That’s wednesday august 11th at 6pm. Thank you in advance for joining this crucial conversation.
