ACWR seeks a Program Supervisor with experience in the arts sector. The ideal candidate would be confident hosting professional development activities, acting as liaison between artists and businesses, and have experience with grant reporting processes. 

The organization will be hosting a series of professional development workshops, networking events and residencies, which will offer the unique opportunity for local artists and businesses to work together. Collectively the program aims to increase the skill set of the local arts community while creating new opportunities for collaboration between the creative sector and local industry.

This role is a part time contract position, beginning in April 2025 and ending November 2025. The program supervisor should expect to work 5-10 hours a week at $20/hr.

The Program Supervisor will support the Executive Director and the Outreach Coordinator in the preparation of the new program. Specific tasks will include collecting information, participating in planning meetings, general administrative duties, delivering training to program participants and ultimately working as a team member with all Arts Council Windsor & Region’s staff and artists. 

 

Ideal Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience facilitating workshops or professional development activities
  • Confidence engaging with the public
  • Operates in an organized and timely manner
  • Digital proficiency in Google Suite, particularly Docs & Sheets
  • Proficiency in Canva and/or Photoshop
  • The successful candidate will have an active creative practice which will infuse the program with their insight and guidance. A creative practice can be any of, but not limited to, the following areas: visual arts, drama/theater, or music/performance.
  • The successful candidate will be confident in a group setting and have an interest in learning.
  • The program will require the successful candidate to have a flexible schedule. 
  • The candidate will be required to secure transportation to a range of venues, so reliable transportation would be considered an asset.
