Overview
The Community & Digital Initiatives Coordinator will play a key role in supporting our 2025 Seniors Program by developing and maintaining digital resources that enhance engagement, accessibility, and communication for the senior community. This position involves reaching out to other organizations in the region, building an online platform, maintaining a community calendar, and coordinating digital outreach initiatives, including the weekly “Senior Spotlight” segment in the ArtsNotes newsletter. This role will also assist with data collection and analysis regarding the program goals and community impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a community calendar featuring senior-focused events and programs.
- Develop and manage an online platform to share programming and resources available for the senior community.
- Coordinate and support outreach efforts, ensuring accessibility and ease of use for seniors.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of the weekly “Senior Spotlight” segment in the ArtsNotes newsletter.
- Support marketing and promotional efforts, including digital advertising and social media coordination.
- Gather and analyze participant feedback to improve engagement and communication strategies.
- Conduct data collection and analysis regarding the program goals and community impact.
- Work closely with the Senior Community Coordinator and project team in supporting ACWR’s Seniors Program.
- This individual should be proficient in WordPress, Google Suite, MailChimp, and Canva.
This position is 5 hours per week, at a rate of $18 an hour for six months (June 2025 – November 2025.)
