WINDSOR PRINTMAKER’S FORUM WORKSHOPS!

Description: In this workshop, you will learn how to use a variety of mediums and materials. Explore, experiment, and learn painting techniques. Print unique, expressive ideas using found materials, printing paper, and an introduction to both hand printing and printing with the press. You will expand your talent, learn technical skills and explore your inner self to express yourself and release the stress we all have in our daily lives.

This workshop is open to beginning and advanced levels.

Instructor holds an MFA in painting and printmaking. All are welcome!

SUPPLIES: Plexiglass, printing paper, inks, various found materials, e.g., textural papers, lace, leaves, etc

All supplies are included though you are free to bring in materials you wish to work with.

Description: This workshop will explore a unique and spontaneous approach to printmaking. A collagraph printing is made from a collage of variety of materials glued together onto a plate. The collaged plate is then inked and printed to produce a richly textured and embossed image. Students will prepare, create, and print their own plates in consultation with the instructor.
