Windsor Dance eXperience presents Mystery of the Museum

June 3, 2023 @ 7:00 pm

Cost: 25

Museums are places full of discovery and learning — but also mystery, as members of Windsor Dance eXperience hope to demonstrate at the Capitol Theatre this weekend.

The non-profit theatrical dance company is offering an original show called Mystery of the Museum with performances on Saturday and Sunday.

According to Jessica Charon, the show’s artistic director, audiences will follow Allison and Hannah, students that venture off on their own during a class trip and discover a forbidden exhibit which has the power to bring the rest of the exhibits to life. With the help of their friend Pebbles, they are taken on an adventure through various exhibits where they come across famous historical figures such as Elvis, Cleopatra, Mona Lisa and Neil Armstrong! However not all the exhibits are as friendly as Pebbles.

The narrative unfolds entirely through choreography, with all 64 performers and the show’s director under the age of 25.

Showtimes are Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Capitol Theatre (121 University Ave. West).

Admission is $25 for general audiences and $20 for children ages 12 and under.
