The Odd Couple by Neil Simon, directed by Joel Lewsaw is slated for a two weekend run at The Bank Theatre, September 9-11 and September 16-18.

“It’s always great to see so many well-known actors from Windsor Essex in theatrical productions at The Bank Theatre,” said John Moran, President of The Bank Theatre. “Everyone knows The Odd Couple is hilarious, but Joel Lewsaw has a way of bringing the best out in his actors and the crew and our volunteers work very hard to bring a great show to our stage.”

When fussy Felix (Chris Dom) becomes suicidal over his impending divorce, he accepts an offer to move in with his best friend, messy Oscar (Joel Lewsaw). Felix drives Oscar and his poker playing friends (Ray Silvius, Steven Richardson, Paul Cornies and Art Brunet) crazy with his obsession over his soon-to-be ex.

Oscar tries to get him out of his funk by arranging a double date with two wacky British neighbors, Cecily (Melinda Lewsaw) and Gwendolyn (Melissa McLeod). When the plan backfires and Felix grows even more despondent, his friendship with Oscar is put to the test.

“I’m incredibly excited to be back on stage and playing Oscar Madison” said Director Joel Lewsaw. “Directing this group of friends is such a blast.”

Performances run Friday September 9 & 16 and Saturday September 10 & 17 with doors opening at 7 PM and show at 7:30 PM.
The LTGO on demand transit is available until 10:30 PM for Friday and Saturday night performances in partnership with the Municipality of Leamington.
Sunday shows are matinees on September 11 & 18 with doors at 2 PM and show at 2:30 PM.
