Sarah Shehadeh

Sarah, who is now based in Windsor ON, grew up in Amman Jordan, and became fascinated with drawing at an early age. This passion led to her receiving two degrees from the University of Jordan; a BA degree in Visual Arts – Painting and Drawing in 2021, and a Professional Diploma in Art Therapy in 2023.  She became fond of the practice of healing with art and became dedicated to helping people express themselves and to resolve conflicts through artistic mediums. Her work is inspired by a wide range of sources from contemporary classical realism to magical realism, and the dynamism between reality and fantasy, as well as practicing the traditional painting techniques of the old masters. Two of her great passions in life are painting and art healing. Through her paintings, she seeks to express herself and bring out her own experiences as she sees them, and to share with others the beauty and diversity of how she turns the real world into a magical place where her soul lives.
