Inspired by walks throughout the city of Windsor, this series captures moments where light, shadow, and colour animate the everyday city. Each painting translates a real, findable location into simplified geometric form, stripping away noise to reveal something quiet and essential. It’s a work about slowing down, and the unexpected calm that lives inside a busy, layered place.

Brodie MacPhail (he/him) is a multidisciplinary artist and graphic designer based in Windsor, Ontario. A BFA graduate of the University of Windsor and recipient of the Mary Demarco Award, his practice spans painting, illustration, and graphic design.
