RoArt 2019 is celebrating 9 years since inception.
Maturing through Art, Community and dual Romanian – Canadian heritage has been and continues to be such a wonderful journey. We started with very few artists, of Romanian heritage. Over time, we grew the number of our Romanian artists. We expanded the Romanian heritage concept to incorporate cultural and racial diversity, core values of our beautiful country, Canada. We grew further, absorbing non-Romanian artists permeated by the artistic mentorship of consecrated Romanian artists. In time, we are heading from a heteroclite composition to a more focused approach, with focused artistic themes.
2019 is the year of “ROOTS”
Artists connected to Romania, either through direct heritage, permeation, absorption, or … whatever takes one’s heart close to our Romanian roots. Art celebrating Romania, its history, culture, society, nature as seen through the eye on an artist – Romanian or not.
