Sarah Jane is a visual artist based in Windsor, Ontario. With a long history of painting, as well as her background as a make-up artist and former pastry chef, art has always surrounded her. Her unique approach to art lies at the intersection of pop art and surrealism along with a nod to vintage pulp magazines.

Through her works, she explores the intricacies of human emotions, taping into the realms of dreams and nightmares. Sarah Jane’s use of bright colours and dark humour creates a compelling dichotomy, inviting viewers to delve deeper into the complexities of the human psyche. Her pieces often feature a juxtaposition of florals and portraits, eliciting a sense of both beauty and introspection.

Involved in the arts for over 20 years, however, her success blossomed in 2022 after holding her very first solo art exhibit. Her work has been on display in Cades and small pop up events throughout Windsor Essex county.

Through her art, Sarah Jane captures the essence of the human experience, one canvas at a time. Sarah resides in Windsor and works as a funeral director assistant and licensed cemetery sales director.
