Please note that there will be homework: you will be writing about your story in your spare time to have it ready for class the following week.

Taught by Walter Petrichyn.

A little bit about Petrichyn: Enrolled in Magnet Theatre’s (New York City) Storytelling workshop in 2016, and after completing the workshop I went on and hosted and organized two storytelling events at the Park Coop Church in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Moving back to Windsor, I also hosted and organized two storytelling workshops at Museum Windsor, and one virtually in 2020 (hosted in my bedroom because you know). Besides live storytelling experience, I also completed a local history podcast Life in a Border Town, as well as previously another narrative podcast called Mission Island. I’ve produced a short documentary film Expressing Toronto which was shown at WIFF in 2016.
