Our March Break 2022 will be a half-day virtual week-long program, with at-home assignments.
The program is open to children and teens 10-15 years of age. If we get enough registrations, we will split the class by age.
Participants will be placed in mini production teams, working together to make a movie in five days.
Our virtual model allows students to spend three hours per day on Zoom learning various aspects of filmmaking.
After class, students will be responsible to complete tasks assigned while in class, including filming their portion of the group’s video. Footage and other materials are sent to info@filmcampforkids.com via MyAirBridge.com (a free site) in the evening or each day before class. Final videos are posted to our YouTube Channel and can be shared on social media.
EQUIPMENT: Students will need access to a device with wifi (computer, laptop, tablet, phone) as well as a device to take digital video (tablet, phone, DSLR camera)

TIME: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
SCHEDULE
Monday – Screenwriting lesson and complete film script
Tuesday – Storyboarding + begin filming
Wednesday – Cinematography lesson, continue filming + begin editing
Thursday – Finish filming + editing
Friday – Finish editing (Instructors upload the videos to YouTube over the weekend)
FEE – $150 (15 hours of class)
