What happens when a bachelorette weekend takes a turn for the worse?
Sheila, a bride-to-be, has planned the perfect weekend with her best friends. But when they arrive early to throw a bachelorette party, they are met with a grisly scene: Sheila’s Uncle Conrad has tragically taken his own life in the family home.
With the wedding only a day away, Sheila is left with the unspeakable task of cleaning up after the tragedy, while trying to hold it together. Enter her quirky, but ever-loyal friends Franny, Larry, and Paul—who are determined to make the best of a truly horrific situation.
Blood Ties, a musical thriller by Johnson and Johnston, is no ordinary musical. Previous versions of this darkly comedic masterpiece have already made waves at prestigious theatre festivals like the Edinburgh Fringe, Toronto’s Next Stage Festival, and Summerworks. It was even featured on the Emmy Award-winning TV series Orphan Black!
