Location: Art Windsor-Essex, 401 Riverside Dr. W, Windsor, ON, 2nd floor
To participate: Artists, makers and creators from Windsor-Essex are encouraged to attend the consultation.
Join Windsor Law faculty and students for a discussion about the legal resource’s artists need to thrive. This open discussion will give law students insight into how artists work, and what their needs are. This information will help to build legal resources for artists and creatives in our region. The goal of this event is to share insights into how artists work locally with cross-border elements, and what the types of business and legal resources are needed. Building connections between law and the arts helps build capacity and understanding, making our community stronger.
Participants include Professor Shanthi Senthe, as well Windsor law students, enrolled in the Transnational Arts and Entertainment Law Clinic. In addition, Nadja Pelkey, Associate Curator, Projects & Partnerships at Art Windsor-Essex will help lead the discussion.
