“Acting Through Song: A Musical Theatre Intensive” is a two-day, singing and acting intensive masterclass for serious performers, presented by The Broadway Bunch.

This intensive is built for performers ages 16-21 who want to stop just rehearsing and are ready to start optimizing their training. Over two focused days in Windsor, you’ll work on two contrasting pieces of repertoire with a team of working professionals: Sara Fontaine on voice and vocal performance, Sam Bourque on stylistic versatility and musicality, Jeremy Ryan Mossman on body-based voice and performance through the song, and Jennifer Budinsky on acting and and artist marketing. This isn’t a camp. It’s training for serious performers in the Windsor-Essex County region.
What you leave with after two days:
- Two pieces of repertoire that are polished and pressure-tested with four industry coaches and a professional accompanist.
- A complete mock audition experience, with real-time feedback that you can apply immediately.
- A performance framework as a permanent tool for every future audition and/or performance.
- A personalized written feedback document from your coaching team, including specific next-step homework.
- Concrete vocal and physical techniques for sustaining yourself through a full audition day.
- Tools that transform how you act through a song.
- Direct relationships with four working theatre professionals who have seen your work.
- Prior to the intensive, participants will be required to submit the two contrasting pieces of repertoire that they would like to work on throughout the intensive
Pricing
A single hour of private coaching from a working industry professional runs $100-150. Over two days, you receive ten hours of coaching from four professionals plus a professional accompanist, individualized written feedback, and a mock audition experience.
The cost for the intensive is $250 per person or $225 if you register by May 22.
Note: Once you have received confirmation of your registration, you must submit 50% of the cost within 48 hours of confirmation, or your seat will be given to the next participant. The other 50% will be due on Monday, June 15.
If there are not 10 people registered by June 14, the program won’t run. If the program does not run, then the 50% deposit will be returned.
