October 1 @ 11:00 am - October 11 @ 5:00 pm

Event Website/Tickets

The Gibson Gallery invites members to take part in a special exhibition celebrating two important milestones: the 130th anniversary of the historic Michigan Central Railroad Station and a sneak peek at our Transportation in Windsor Essex County caboose museum.

Running from October 1-11, this commemorative exhibition explores Windsor-Essex’s rich transportation history and the stories that helped shape our community. Artists are encouraged to submit transportation-themed artwork inspired by trains, railways, automobiles, ships, bicycles, aviation, or any form of travel connected to Windsor-Essex’s past and/or the history of the Gibson Gallery itself.

This members-only exhibition welcomes a wide range of artistic styles and interpretations, from historical representations to contemporary and imaginative works
