Creatives at Work (Residencies & Workshops)

INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE AS A BUSINESS PARTNER

We’re excited to invite your business to be part of a unique and inspiring initiative — Creatives at Work, a new program from the Arts Council Windsor & Region (ACWR) in partnership with the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Centre, and supported by a Seed Grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

This 6-week residency program will match six local artists with six small businesses in Windsor-Essex to collaborate on creative projects developed within your space. The program will be open to professional artists including creative writers and poets, visual artists (painters, graphic artists, sculptors), media and performing artists, musicians, singers and songwriters and storytellers.

What’s in it for you?

No cost to your business – All artist fees and materials are covered.
Enhanced workplace culture – Creativity fosters inspiration, innovation and staff well-being.
Public exposure – Participating businesses will be featured across ACWR’s media platforms, including social media, newsletters and press outreach.
Community connection – Artists conclude the residency with a public event at your business or ArtSpeak Gallery.

Application Deadline: April 25, 2025

Residency Period: 6-weeks period between June and November 2025
